Student Government is excited to begin the process of electing two representatives from each grade for the 2016-2017 school year. The Student Government president, Miles Donahue, and his cabinet of distinguished students (Joel Robinson, Louis Papponi, Rhylyn Jones, and Nick Crepeau) would like to extend this invitation to all students. An email has been sent to you with a PDF of the Student Government Representative Application, which needs to be filled out and submitted to Mr. LaClair along with a two-minute speech in regards to why you would be the best candidate to fill this role for your grade level.
Becoming a Student Government representative not only is a great service to your fellow students, but also puts you into a seat of power, as you make decisions that affect the student body. Also, your CCPS street cred will instantaneously skyrocket!
Applications are due, at the latest, by Wednesday, August 31st.
Please, teachers and students, mark your calendars that the Student Government Representative elections will take place during seventh-period on Thursday, September 1 from 2:00-3:00pm.
The application will also be available on the front page of our website (www.cottonwoodclassical.org).
Please remember that we are in need of two representatives per grade level.
Thank-you from your Student Government!
