Why does a public charter school need to raise money? A good question with a simple answer: what the state provides only covers about 85% of the funding needs that schools like Cottonwood Classical have. State funding is an essential foundation but doesn’t allow for the level of excellence our students and families are seeking. Educating the whole child for the whole world is not in the state of New Mexico funding formula. That’s why we need everyone to chip in to make the world class education and world class programs that go with it a reality. Coyotes work and live as a pack. Here at CCPS so do we.
